Genshin Impact 2.7 is finally here. It appears most of the leaks were accurate, but the update had more in store for us than we anticipated.
Hoyoverse already presented two of the new characters debuting in the update, Yelan, and Kuki Shinobu, and some rumors suggest the update will also add a new free weapon, a teapot event, and much more. This guide covers all the Genshin Impact 2.7 events and what to expect from the next big update.

What Are the Genshin Impact 2.7 Banners?

Yelan and Kuki Shinobu will feature in 2.7’s banners - Yelan will be the first, and Kuki in the second. There will be an Arataki Itto (voiced by Persona 5's Ryuji) rerun, and a Xiao rerun as well. The Arataki rerun will be in the second half of the update, and will featured boosted drop rates of Kuki Shinobu. As a 4-Star character, she unfortunately won't have her own specific banner.
- Discerner Of Enigmas (Yelan) - May 31 - June 20.
- Oni's Royale (Itto, with Kuki Shinobu) - June 20 - July 19.
On the weapon side, Yelan’s bow, the five-star Aqua Simulacra, will headline 2.7’s Epitome Invocation (weapon banner, in plainspeak). A new four-star bow called Fading Twilight will also show up, though it’s a free weapon tied to one of the patch’s new events. Then, the Redhorn Stonethresher claymore will be boosted in the second half.
What Are the Genshin Impact 2.7 Events?

The first announced event is the Perilous Trail, which takes place in The Chasm. This will see a dungeon for players to fight through the levels of, with increasing difficulty. Players will be rewarded with an exclusive four-star Bow, the Fading Twilight. This will be part of the new Archon Quest.
Second is another Chasm-centric event: A Muddy Bizarre Adventure. A strange mud has taken over the chasm and has caused monsters to become even stronger. Travelers must clear it out.
Rumours of Itto's musical event were correct - there will be the Almighty Arataki's Great and Glorious Drum Along Festival, a rhythm game that will gift players with a drum and some cool rewards, including piles of Primos.
Kuki Shinobu will star in her own Hangout Event, which is a nice way to introduce her to the game properly. You'll need to be Adventure Rank 26 or above to unlock it.
