One of the two new Artifact sets introduced in Genshin Impact Patch 2.0 is the Shimenawa's Reminiscence set. This set will be available once Inazuma is accessible to the players. Here's how to get this new Artifact set in the game.

How To Get Shimenawa's Reminiscence Artifact Set

As seen on the official Mihoyo reveal, Shimenawa's Reminiscence artifact set was one of the new content confirmed for the Inazuma update. Similar to previous 5-star artifact sets, the whole set is also a five-piece artifact set. The artifact set also gives out bonus effects when two and four pieces are equipped.

As for where to get it, Mihoyo has yet officially reveal the way to get these artifacts. Most 5-star artifact sets can only be obtained from domains. The next Patch 2.0 may introduce a new domain for these artifacts.

Artifact's Effects Explained

The Shimenawa's Reminiscence artifact set increases a character's damage through sacrificing Elemental Burst charge for it. When equipping two artifacts from this set, the character gets some bonus ATK stats similar to the Gladiator Artifact set.

Meanwhile, the four artifact bonus allows the character to get a 50% bonus ATK buff for their Normal, Charged, and Plunging Attack when the Elemental Skill is used. However, the buff only lasts for 10 seconds and will cost 15 Energy from their Elemental Burst charge.

Who Can Benefit From Shimenawa's Reminiscence Artifact Set

Looking at the Artifact's effects, the Energy cost to use buff may put off many players from equipping this set on their characters. However, this new set can be useful for characters who rely mostly on Normal, Charged, and Plunging attacks to deal damage.

The best candidate for this Artifact set is Xiao as he mostly defeats crowds of enemies through repeated plunge attacks. Once his ultimate is activated, he can cast his Elemental Skill to further improve his Plunging attack damage.

Alternatively, this set could also be used on characters who have high Energy Recharge such as Xingqiu and Mona if aiming to use them as a main carry in solo or in a co-op party.
