Despite being less than a year old, Genshin Impact has been one of the best live-service games out there, giving fans consistent updates that add something new to the title, whether it’s a few fun new characters or more story to sink our teeth into.
Thanks to the game’s most recent update, fans have a good number of new activities to take part in, whether it’s getting your Trust Rank up, making furniture, and this is all to fill one major new thing; making your house look prettier.
How to Get a House in Genshin Impact
In Genshin Impact Update 1.5, players can now have their own house, though it does have some caveats that shouldn’t mean much for experienced Genshin fans but will be something of a road block for newer players.
You’ll need your Adventure Rank to reach Level 35, which is probably where most experienced players are now, and to finish the ‘A New Star Approaches’ mission.
Once you’ve done both requirements, players can partake in the mission called ‘A Teapot to Call Home,’ which will have you fetch various items in the game, which should take less than an hour to accomplish.
Finally, once you’ve finished ‘A Teapot to Call Home,’ Genshin Impact players will have a house to call their own, albeit one in a reality that’s somehow inside a teacup.
Here, players will be able to design their house and place furniture around to make it look nice, maybe show it to their friends since this is an online game.
You will need to do a lot of activities to make your house look nice but it will be worth it in the end, especially since completing certain objectives can get you Primogems.
Genshin Impact is now available on the PS4, PS5, PC, iOS, and Android, with a Nintendo Switch version reportedly in the works.
