How do I get Sucrose in Genshin Impact?

Mondstadt's resident bio alchemist is available as a boosted drop rate 4-Star in Ganyu and Kokomi's current banners.

Sucrose is also obtainable by spending wishes in the Wanderlust Invocation standard banner.

What are the best Sucrose builds?

Sucrose is a pretty straightforward unit in terms of building, she shines as a Support or Sub DPS character that focuses on her own Elemental abilities, so our setups should reflect that. Weapons like The Widsith and artifact sets like Viridescent Venerer will serve that approach.

Below are two of the best Sucrose builds right now. You can keep reading to find out the hows and whys of these particular Sucrose builds, but if you've used this character before, you'll quickly understand the thought process behind her best weapon and artifact choices.

Anemo DPS Build

The Widsith is the best option for this build since the randomized boosts we can get when changing characters will support our offensive strategies in a more adequate way.

If you want a boost on your charged attacks, the Wanderer’s Troupe should serve its purpose. However, 99% of the time you want to focus on your Anemo skills, so the Viridescent Venerer set in full effect is the one to equip.

Anemo Support Build

Both weapons serve their purpose at supporting your teammates, and the real choice lies in which one you can afford, with the Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers being really easy to obtain until you can forge the Prototype Amber.

Being an Anemo Support build, you either want to use Viridescent Venerer to boost the potential damage of your Swirl reactions, or mix it up with 2 parts of The Instructor set to give your teammates a bonus on Elemental Mastery.

What are the best Team Comps for Sucrose?

Sucrose works especially well with other teammates which can trigger reactions. A good team composition comes with Pyro users as they can trigger strong Swirl reactions with fire damage.
