Genshin Impact Sucrose Build Guide - Everything You Need to Know

Jump To

This Green-haired, shy girl is a bio-alchemist working as an assistant to Albedo. Her curiosity and love for experimenting earned her a place within the Knights of Favonius’ ranks, and despite her young age, she has already achieved some groundbreaking achievements in her area of expertise. On the battlefield, she’s an Anemo-based Support unit, with the potential to act as a Sub DPS.

Sucrose is obtainable by spending wishes in the Wanderlust Invocation standard banner. Good luck obtaining her!

Character Overview, Skills, and Talents

Sucrose is a pretty straightforward unit in terms of building, she shines as a Support or Sub DPS character that focuses on her own Elemental abilities, so our setups should reflect that. Weapons like The Widsith and artifact sets like Viridescent Venerer will serve that approach.

Normal Attack - Wind Spirit Creation

Normal Attack
Performs up to 4 attacks using Wind Spirits, dealing Anemo damage.

Charged Attack
Consumes a certain amount of Stamina and deals AoE Anemo damage after a short casting time.

Plunging Attack
Sucrose descends towards the ground from mid-air, damaging all enemies in her path. Deals AoE Anemo damage upon landing.

Elemental Skill - Astable Anemohypostasis Creation - 6308

Creates a small Wind Spirit that deals Anemo damage to enemies in an AoE, pulling them towards the location of the Wind Spirit before launching them.

Elemental Burst - Forbidden Creation - Isomer 75 / Type II

Sucrose creates a Large Wind Spirit. While active, the Large Wind Spirit will continuously pull and launch nearby enemies, dealing AoE Anemo damage.

Elemental Absorption
If the Wind Spirit comes into contact with Hydro / Pyro / Cryo / Electro elements, it will deal additional damage of that type. Elemental Absorption may only occur once per use.

Passive Talents

Catalyst Conversion
When Sucrose triggers a Swirl effect, characters in the party with the matching element have their Elemental Mastery increased by 50 for 8 seconds.

Mollis Favonius
When Astable Anemohypostatis Creation - 6308 or Forbidden Creation - Isomer 75 / Type II hit an enemy, increases other party member's Elemental Mastery based on 20% of Sucrose's Elemental Mastery for 8 seconds.

Example Builds for Sucrose

Support Anemo Build
Weapon - Prototype Amber or Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers
Both weapons serve their purpose at supporting your teammates, and the real choice lies in which one you can afford, with the Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers being really easy to obtain until you can forge the Prototype Amber.
Artifacts - Viridescent Venerer (4 Pieces) or The Instructor (4 Pieces)
Being a Support build, you either want to use Viridescent Venerer to boost the Swirl damage (which requires teamwork with a Hydro unit) or boost your teammates’ Elemental Mastery using the Instructor set.

DPS Build
Weapon - The Widsith
The Widsith is the best option for this build since the randomized boosts we can get at changing characters will support our offensive strategies in a more adequate way.
Artifacts - Viridescent Venerer (4 Pieces) or Wanderer‘s Troupe (4 Pieces)
If you want an overall boost, the Wanderer’s Troupe should serve its purpose. However, if you want to focus on your Anemo skills in this build, the Viridescent Venerer is the one to equip.
