How do I get Sucrose in Genshin Impact?
Mondstadt's resident bio alchemist is available as a boosted drop rate 4-Star in Ganyu and Kokomi's current banners.
Sucrose is also obtainable by spending wishes in the Wanderlust Invocation standard banner.
What are the best Sucrose builds?
Sucrose is a pretty straightforward unit in terms of building, she shines as a Support or Sub DPS character that focuses on her own Elemental abilities, so our setups should reflect that. Weapons like The Widsith and artifact sets like Viridescent Venerer will serve that approach.
Below are two of the best Sucrose builds right now. You can keep reading to find out the hows and whys of these particular Sucrose builds, but if you've used this character before, you'll quickly understand the thought process behind her best weapon and artifact choices.
|Role||Best Weapon||Alternative Weapon||Best Artifacts||Alternative Artifacts|
|Anemo DPS Build||The Widsith||Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers||Viridescent Venerer (4 piece set)||Wanderer’s Troupe (4 Pieces)|
|Anemo Support Build||Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers||Prototype Amber||Viridescent Venerer (4 piece set)||The Instructor (4 piece set)|
Anemo DPS Build
The Widsith is the best option for this build since the randomized boosts we can get when changing characters will support our offensive strategies in a more adequate way.
If you want a boost on your charged attacks, the Wanderer’s Troupe should serve its purpose. However, 99% of the time you want to focus on your Anemo skills, so the Viridescent Venerer set in full effect is the one to equip.
Anemo Support Build
Both weapons serve their purpose at supporting your teammates, and the real choice lies in which one you can afford, with the Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers being really easy to obtain until you can forge the Prototype Amber.
Being an Anemo Support build, you either want to use Viridescent Venerer to boost the potential damage of your Swirl reactions, or mix it up with 2 parts of The Instructor set to give your teammates a bonus on Elemental Mastery.
What are the best Team Comps for Sucrose?
Sucrose works especially well with other teammates which can trigger reactions. A good team composition comes with Pyro users as they can trigger strong Swirl reactions with fire damage.
|Diluc, Xinqiu, Bennett||Pyro, Hydro, Pyro|
|Fischl or Xiangling, Mona, Ganyu||Electro, Pyro, Hydro, Cryo|
What are the best weapons for Sucrose?
Weapons like the Prototype Amber or The Widsith are the best options for these builds. You can also find a more affordable and equally good alternative to the Prototype Amber in the form of the Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers.

What are the best Artifacts for Sucrose?
Depending on which build you choose to make, you must use Viridescent Venerer and mix it up with either Wanderer‘s Troupe set (in case you want to use Sucrose as an Anemo DPS), or The Instructor (for Anemo Support purposes). How many of these you choose to equip on her will depend on your gameplay, so it is suggested that you test different builds, see how they work as mixed or full sets and you can decide then.
|Artifacts||Two-Piece Effect||Four-Piece Effect|
|Viridescent Venerer||Anemo damage Bonus +15%||Increases Swirl damage by 60%. Decreases opponent's Elemental Resistance to the element infused in the Swirl by 40% for 10 seconds.|
|The Exile||Energy Recharge +20%.||Using an Elemental Burst regenerates 2 Energy for all the other party members every 2 seconds, for 6 seconds. This effect cannot stack.|
Sucrose Artifact Stats
Given Sucrose's set of skills, you want to develop Elemental Mastery as the main stat and focus on boosting Attack as the sub-stat.
|Slot||Main Stat||Sub Stats|
|Feather||ATK||Critical Damage, Critical Rate, Attack%, Elemental Mastery|
|Flower||HP||Critical Damage, Critical Rate, Attack%, Elemental Mastery|
|Hourglass||Elemental Mastery/ Energy Recharge||Critical Damage, Critical Rate, Attack, Elemental Mastery/ Energy Recharge|

|Headpiece||Elemental Mastery||Critical Damage, Attack%, Critical Rate, Attack|
What are Sucrose's skills and talents?
Sucrose shines as an Anemo-based Support unit, with the potential to act as a Sub-DPS as well through her use of Anemo skills, which in turn can trigger Swirl Reactions pretty consistently.
|Normal Attack||Performs up to 4 attacks using Wind Spirits, dealing Anemo damage.|
|Charged Attack||Consumes a certain amount of Stamina and deals AoE Anemo damage after a short casting time.|
|Plunging Attack||Sucrose descends towards the ground from mid-air, damaging all enemies in her path. Deals AoE Anemo damage upon landing.|

|Elemental Burst - Forbidden Creation - Isomer 75 / Type II||Sucrose creates a Large Wind Spirit. While active, the Large Wind Spirit will continuously pull and launch nearby enemies, dealing AoE Anemo damage. Elemental Absorption If the Wind Spirit comes into contact with Hydro / Pyro / Cryo / Electro elements, it will deal additional damage of that type. Elemental Absorption may only occur once per use.|
|Talent#1 - Catalyst Conversion||When Sucrose triggers a Swirl effect, characters in the party with the matching element have their Elemental Mastery increased by 50 for 8 seconds.|
|Talent#2 - Mollis Favonius||When Astable Anemohypostatis Creation - 6308 or Forbidden Creation - Isomer 75 / Type II hit an enemy, increases other party member's Elemental Mastery based on 20% of Sucrose's Elemental Mastery for 8 seconds.|
|Talent#3 - Astable Invention||When Sucrose crafts Character and Weapon Enhancement Materials, she has a 10% to obtain double the product.|
What are Sucrose's Constellations?
If you get to pull Sucrose multiple times, you will eventually reach a level of the constellation that will turn her into an excellent DPS/Support unit, with improvements on all her Skills and their respective cooldowns, making Sucrose a great unit to support your party.
|Clustered Vacuum Field||Astable Anemohypostasis Creation - 6308 gains 1 additional charge.|
|Beth: Unbound Form||The duration of Forbidden Creation - Isomer 75 / Type II is increased by 2 seconds.|
|Flawless Alchemistress||Increases the Level of Astable Anemohypostasis Creation - 6308 by 3, up to a maximum level of 15.|
|Alchemania||Every 7 Normal and Charged Attacks, Sucrose will reduce the cooldown of Astable Anemohypostasis Creation - 6308 by 1-7 seconds.|
|Caution: Standard Flask||Increase the Level of Forbidden Creation - Isomer 75 / Type II by 3, up to a maximum level of 15.|
|Chaotic Entropy||If Forbidden Creation - Isomer 75 / Type II triggers an Elemental Absorption, all party members gain a 20% Elemental damage Bonus for the corresponding absorbed element during its duration.|
What are Sucrose's Ascension Materials?
Ascending Sucrose boosts her Anemo Damage Bonus and Defense stats more than anything else, a welcomed improvement that makes her a great DPS/Support. Farming the Anemo Hypostasis can take a bit, but for improving a unit as helpful as Sucrose is for your team it's worth the effort.

What are Sucrose's Talent Level Up Materials?
