Genshin Impact 1.5 is here, and the big question now is how to get a house in Genshin Impact.

Fortunately, it’s easy to do, though it will take some time and requires completing a simple quest.

Once you get your Genshin Impact house, you’ll be able to decorate not just the home itself, but the entire village surrounding it.

That means building items too, and Genshin Impact 1.5 adds new crafting options built around wood, fabric, and dyes.

Eventually, you’ll also get access to two other locations to build villages.

Here’s everything you need to know about how to get a house in Genshin Impact.

How to Get a House in Genshin Impact

You’ll need to complete the A Teapot to Call Home quest first.

That requires an Adventurer Rank of level 35 or higher, and you also need to complete the Act 1, Chapter 3 Archon Quest “A New Star Approaches.”

Once you’ve met these requirements, head to Liyue Harbor and speak with Madame Ping.

This starts a chain of events that essentially just involves speaking to certain people.

It’s a bit tedious and mostly just introduces the new character Yanfei.

Just make sure to turn on navigation for each quest to make it go faster.

After that, you’ll choose one of the three locations for your Genshin Impact house and can get started straight away.
