Genshin Impact - What are the Crimson Agates?

Crimson Agates are Adventure Items that can be found in the Dragonspine Area. Scattered in the overworld, in certain chests, or as a repeatable reward from completing a Crimson Wish, they will show up in the minimap along with a sound effect whenever you get within proximity of one of them. They can be offered to the Frostbearing Tree for rewards, similar to the Statues of the Seven in Mondstadt and Liyue.

Crimson Wish

The Crimson Wish is a system that allows players to obtain Crimson Agates by completing periodical quests, unlocked once the Frostbearing Tree has reached Level 8. Every Monday and Friday on the player's server, 5 Crimson Wishes will spawn throughout Dragonspine, each one awarding one Crimson Agate upon completion. The Wishes can be done in Co-Op Mode and any participants that aid in the quest will also earn a Crimson Agate.

1: Collect the Anemograna to ride the wind current and glide over the barrier protecting this Crimson Agate.
2: Floating over a boat. Collect the Anemograna to ride the wind current and glide to get this Crimson Agate.
3: Inside a locked Precious Chest. Defeat the surrounding Fatui enemies to get it.
4: Under the Dragon Skull.
5: Floating over some pines, climb to a higher point, and glide from there.
6: On top of a large rib bone.
7: Encased in Ancient Rime, you need to use a Crimson Quartz and then hit it to melt it.
8: Sitting on a small ledge.
9: Right beside the Frostbearing Tree.
10: On top of a dead pine, next to a stone arch.
11: Sitting at the top of this rock formation.
12: Floating right beside the top of a pine.
13: Inside a locked Precious Chest. Defeat the surrounding Hilichurl enemies to get it.
14: Inside a locked Luxurious Chest. Solve the puzzle to unlock it.
15: Climb the rock formation, you will find it encased in Ancient Rime. Use a Crimson Quartz (there’s one to the south) and then hit it to melt it.
16: Floating up in the air, jump and glide from the mountainside to get it.
17: Inside a locked Precious Chest. Solve the puzzle to unlock it.
18: Beat the two Ruin Guards and the Ruin Grader. It’ll be inside the hole.
19: Climb until you reach a small ruined wall, the Crimson Agate will be easily noticeable between the wall and a torch.
20: Inside a locked Precious Chest. Finish the Time Trial to unlock it.
21: Inside a locked Precious Chest. Finish the Combat Trial to unlock it.
22: Floating between two pine tops.
23: Inside a Precious Chest.
24: Inside a locked Precious Chest. Defeat the Frostarm Lawachurl to unlock it.
25: Break a wall of rocks after lowering the water level and you will notice it near a wooden gate.
26: Inside a Precious Chest.
27: On top of the cliff above the tent. Keep in mind it won’t show in the minimap if you’re on ground level.
28: Inside a Precious Chest in the tent.
29: Inside a Precious Chest.
30: Floating up in the air, you will need to glide from a higher point.
31: On top of the stone arch.
32: Inside a locked Precious Chest. Defeat the Ruin Grader nearby to unlock it.
33: On top of the mountain.
34: Inside a hut, in a locked Precious Chest. Defeat the two Ice Shieldwall Mitachurls to unlock.
35: Inside a Precious Chest in the hut.
36: On top of the hut.
37: Inside a Precious Chest.
38: On top of the mountain.
39: Floating up in the air in the center of the stone ring.
40: Floating above the water, near an ice platform.
41: At the top of a dead pine in a small islet.
42: Inside a Precious Chest in this islet.
43: Collect the Anemograna to ride the wind current and get it, it’s floating mid-air.
44: Under the small rock tunnel.
45: Inside a Precious Chest. Defeat the Hilichurls and Mitachurl defending it.
46: Floating at the top of the ledge.
47: Inside a Luxurious Chest that will spawn after you defeat the Snowboar King.
48: Read the Ragged record, on the other side of the mountain. Doing that will make a new Ragged record spawn here. Investigate it and the chest will spawn.
49: Floating up in the air beside the mountainside.
50: Inside a Precious Chest. Solve the puzzle to make it spawn.
51: Floating on top of the cliff.
52: Inside a Precious chest in the Secret Vault.
53: Floating up in the center of the circular ruins, glide from above to get it.
54: Complete the puzzle to drain the water and you will be able to reach the Precious Chest with the Crimson Agate inside.
55: Floating in the middle of the tunnel.
56: Inside a Precious Chest.
57: On top of the ruined tower.
58: On a ledge below the peak. Keep in mind you won’t be able to see it in the minimap from the ground level.
59: Floating on the broken bridge.
60: Inside a Luxurious Chest that will spawn after you defeat the Frostarm Lawachurl.

61: On top of a broken pillar.
62: Inside a locked Luxurious Chest besides the Domain entrance, after thawing out the second set of three Ancient Rime for the quest “In the Mountains”.
63: Use the Anemo Pedestal to reach the Crimson Agate sitting on top of the floating tower after unlocking the domain.
64: Floating mid-air at the end of the line of boosters provided by the Anemo Totem, on the opposite end of the peak.
65: On top of a stone pillar leaning against the mountain wall.
66: Floating above the water.
67: Inside a Chest locked behind a gate. Melt the Ancient Rime nearby to reveal the second opening button.
68: At the top of the ruin, near the Anemo Totem.
69: Underneath the stone bridge in the upper level of the caverns.
70: Right between the big rock pillars at the center of the Starglow Cavern.
71: Inside a Precious Chest on top of the mountain.
72: Easily noticeable on your way to the top, near a torch.
73: Floating right under the stone bridge near the exit of the cavern.
74: Floating beside the mountainside.
75: On a ledge near the top of the mountain, glide down from above to see it.
76: Inside a locked Precious Chest. Finish the Combat Trial to unlock it.
77: Under a piece of breakable ice, you can either hit it or stand on it until it breaks.
78: Feed the foxes in the camp nearby for a few days and a chest will pop up with the Crimson Agate inside.
79: Inside a Precious Chest in the Palace Treasure Room.
80: At the top of the mountain, glide from above or use an Anemo current to get it.
