Genshin Impact April Shop Restocks Some Familiar Faces

It’s a new month, which means the Genshin Impact April shop reset has refreshed and refilled Paimon’s Bargains.

There’s the usual items to expect, including five Acquaint Fates and five Intertwined Fates.

Genshin’s April shop characters are also worth looking into.

While they aren’t standout characters on their own, the April shop characters offer a chance of unlocking new Constellations, assuming you have the Masterless Starglitter to spend for them.

The other big addition to Genshin’s April shop is the Royal series of weapons making its return.

Whether they’re worth your Starglitter is another matter, though.

Genshin Impact April Shop Characters

Genshin Impact’s April shop characters are April and Razor.

Both cost 34 Masterless Starglitter each, and you’ll only obtain Starglitter by pulling repeat characters in Wishes.

Genshin Impact Royal Weapons: Are They Worth It?

The April Shop sees the Royal series return:

  • Royal Longsword
  • Royal Greatsword
  • Royal Spear
  • Royal Grimoire
  • Royal Bow

Each costs 24 Masterless Starglitter, so the big question is are Genshin Impact’s Royal weapons good?

The answer depends on your intended character.

Royal weapons increase each hit’s critical hit rate by 8% per strike for a maximum 40% increase.

This effect resets if you land a critical hit.

The Greatsword deals fewer blows per combo, so the Royal Greatsword helps make the most of each hit.

Spears hit multiple times in quick succession, maximizing your chances of getting critical hits with every combo.

These are the two you’ll want to focus on the most.

The bow, sword, and catalyst don’t land enough hits to make the Royal benefit worthwhile.

Genshin Impact April Shop Items

The remaining items you can exchange Starglitter for include high-level Ascension materials, such as Black Crystal Horns and Chaos Cores.

Items you can exchange Stargdust for remain largely the same, though the Starglitter section’s Intertwined and Acquaint Fates have refreshed.

As always, you can exchange 75 Stardust for up to five of each Fate.
