Genshin Impact - What are the Anemoculus?

The Anemoculus (or Anemoculi in plural) is an Adventure Item that can be found across the Mondstadt Region. It helps you level the Statues of the Seven in that nation, which will give you various bonuses depending on the statue’s current level. You can collect the majority of these Anemoculi right after starting the game, but some of them are locked behind the Main Story progression.

They will show up in the minimap along with a sound effect whenever you get within proximity of one of them. You can also use alchemy to craft a consumable gadget called the Anemoculus Resonance Stone, which will point the way to the closest one. Keep in mind, there’s a 66th Anemoculus tied to your Story progression, but you only need 65 to max out the level of the Statues of the Seven in the Mondstadt region.

All North-East Anemoculus Map Locations

1: From the edge of the beach near Stormbearer Point, you will spot an island far away. You won't have enough stamina to swim there, so you should create an ice walkway to reach your destination and the Anemoculus there.
2: From the cliff, jump, and glide, the Anemoculus will be beneath the cliff.
3: The Anemoculus is floating next to a tower, use the stairs to reach it.
4: On the foot of Starsnatch Cliff there's a breakable rock. Use a Claymore or jump attacks to break it faster.
5: On top of a ruined stone arch in the Thousand Winds Temple.
6: Climb up to the top of the ruined arches.
7: On top of a stone column.
8: In the Stormbearer Mountains, there’s an Anemoculus floating near a hilichurl watchtower, you can climb it and glide from there.
9: Also in the Stormbearer Mountains. Glide below the cliff and it’ll be on a tall ledge, surrounded by Anemo slimes. Keep in mind, it may not show up in the minimap when you’re on top of the cliff.
10: You can make an ice walkway using a Cryo unit, swim, or glide from the top of the Mondstadt Chapel to reach this place. Activate the Anemo Totem to fly up and get the Anemoculus.
11: From the last one, you can also get this Anemoculus, which it’s over the water nearby.

All South-East Anemoculus Map Locations

12: Floating between two trees and a nearby rock, you can jump or glide to easily get it.
13: There’s a tree surrounded by bushes, with the Anemoculus within its branches, you just have to jump to get it.
14: In Windrise, out in the open.
15: In the east part of Springvale, on the roof of a house.
16: On the edge of the cliff next to a stone pillar.
17: On one of the giant tree’s branches, you need to climb to the top, easily noticeable.
18: Collect the Anemograma, this will create a wind current that will allow you to get the Anemoculus by gliding.
19: Climb up the nearby broken pillar and glide from there.
20: Near the edge of a cliff above a hilichurl camp.
21: Slightly off the edge of the cliff, jump from there and it’ll be just below.
22: Collect the Anemograma, this will create a wind current that will allow you to get the Anemoculus by gliding.
23: Ride the current to catch the Anemoculus on top.
24: Floating between some trees and over a bush near the Temple of The Lion’s entrance.
25: Glide from a nearby tree, the Anemoculus is right above the enemies.
26: Collect the Anemograma, this will create a wind current that will allow you to get the Anemoculus by gliding.
27: Floating high in the air in the valley, glide from one of the cliffs to get it.
28: On top of the wooden “X”, glide from a cliff above.
29: Inside the main large hut.
30: In the air over the tall column, glide from a nearby cliff to get it.
31: Glide from this cliff in Cape Oath and you will see it on a small grass, a bit above sea level. It won’t show up on the minimap until you get close enough.
32: Resting in Musk Reef, over the Spyral Abyss gate arch. To get there, you can either create an ice walkway or glide there using the Anemograma.

All South-West Anemoculus Map Locations

33: Floating above the edge of the cliff. Collecting the Anemograma will create a wind current that can lift you to get it.
34: Collect the Anemograma, this will create a wind current, allowing you to get the Anemoculus by gliding.
35: Climb from the front door of the Winery to the balcony, it’ll be on top of the roof.
36: It’s too high to appear in the minimap. Activate the Anemo pillar, which will summon three Anemograma, thus creating a wind current, allowing you to get the Anemoculus by gliding.
37: It’ll be sitting over water, you can either glide to this point from a nearby cliff or create an ice walkway to reach it.
38: Right underneath the edge of this high cliff. Jump and turn around to get the Anemoculus.
39: Over the water, you can either glide to this point from a nearby cliff or create an ice walkway to reach it.
40: The Anemoculus rests on top of the pillar surrounded by brambles. Use a Pyro unit to burn them.
41: The Anemoculus will be near a dead tree that you can use to glide and get it.
42: The Anemoculus will be on top of one of the trees close to the cliff’s edge.
43: The Anemoculus will be sitting on the grass, on a ledge sticking out of the cliffside. You can either glide or climb to get it.

All North-West Anemoculus Map Locations

44: Floating high above the road, glide from the eastside cliff to get it.
45: Collect the Anemograma, this will create a wind current that will allow you to get the Anemoculus by gliding.
46: On the foot of the cliff it’ll be a pile of breakable rocks, with the Anemoculus inside.
47: On the ground, next to an Anemo Slime.
48: On the edge of the cliff.
49: Above a tree, glide from the edge of the near cliff to get it.
50: Use a Claymore or jump attacks to break the pile of rocks, revealing the Anemoculus inside.
51: Glide through the rings in time and the current will take you to the Anemoculus.
52: Glide over the barrier guarding it.
53: Underneath the stairs, break the rocks using a claymore or jump attacks and you will be able to enter and get it.
54: Activate the Anemo Totem and ride the wind current to get it.
55: Under the arch in this section of the ruins, next to a wind current. Use the glider to get it.
56: Inside the high pillar in this location. You can climb over a nearby cliff and glide to enter, the Anemoculus will be sitting at the bottom.
57: Glide down from the challenge marker, it’s easy to spot it from there.
58: You will find the Anemoculus on top of the ruins’ stone ring.
59: Sitting over the branches of the tall tree near the bridge.
60: Climb up the cliff to the right of the last one, you will see an Anemo Totem you can activate. Ride the wind current to get this Anemoculus.
61: The Anemoculus is sitting at the top of the pillar, you can either climb to the top or glide from a nearby cliff.
62: The Anemoculus is under the cliff, inside a cave-like entrance.
63: Inside a small cave underneath the ruins, you can find it hidden behind a pillar.
64: On the level below the Statue of Seven, floating above a Ruin Guard.
65: At the top floor of the Stormterror Tower, next to a chest.
