The Genshin Impact 1.7 release date leaked, thanks to noted Genshin leaker Lumie_Lumie.
Their sources show the 1.7 release date will be July 21, but that’s not all.
Noted Genshin leaker Lumie_Lumie also has the Genshin Impact 1.7 banner lineup, and if it holds true, it’s a significant departure from miHoYo’s usual.
Lumie says the Genshin Impact 1.7 release date coincides with the long-awaited addition of Inazuma characters to Genshin’s roster, and they might not be added in drips.
miHoYo usually gives us a five-star character and a four-star character in each update, and only one of those is new.
The recent 1.6 update is a good example, with a Klee banner rerun first, followed by Kazuha’s banner in late June.
Genshin Impact 1.7 Release Date Leaks With a Big Change In Store
However, Lumie’s sources have Ayaka being added first as a new five-star character on July 21, followed by Yoimiya and Sayu on August 10.
Both Yoimiya and Sayu are five-star characters, though Lumie does note the details could change before release.
If they didn’t, it would be the first time miHoYo added two brand-new five star characters in one swoop.
Lumie said the accompanying four-star characters haven’t been revealed.
There’s no shortage of candidates thanks to a bout of Genshin 1.7 leaks (or 2.0 leaks depending on which version you go with), but we’d be surprised and a little distressed if miHoYo added more new characters with the four-stars too.
We’ve only got so many Primogems, after all.
