Xbox Series X And Series S: How To Enable Cross-Platform

Cross-platform has become the major new feature for many games, take Apex Legends as an example.

Many users want the ability to choose to play on the platform they like without the penalty of not being able to play with friends on other platforms.

With this new way of connecting, no doubt it will bring players closer together and create a bigger community.

Anyway, if you've just got an Xbox for Christmas and your mate got a PS5, you may be asking how do you enable it on your Xbox Series X or S?

Unfortunately, the feature isn't really universal.

You'll only be able to access cross-play on certain titles.

This all depends on if the developer decides to include it into the game.

Right now many do, but it's still relatively new so it may be a little while till all titles have this ability.

As a go-to, it's usually best to check the settings of the game you're playing.

If it's possible there should be an option to enable or disable cross-platform.

Although, some games have it automatically built in so you won't have to do anything at all.

It's all a bit up in the air when it comes to this feature!
