Xbox Boss Suggests 1 Vs 100 Could Be Revived For Series X

Xbox Series X is coming in just a few weeks, and while we won't be getting Halo Infinite until 2021, another beloved IP could resurface if quotes from Xbox boss Phil Spencer are to be believed.

Speaking on a FanFest live stream last Friday, Spencer noted suggested that the company could be working on a trivia game "from our past", which many have taken to mean that 1 Vs 100 could be returning.

“I just want to say, when our teams are trying to do new things that we’ve never done before, I want to be 100 percent behind those things,” Spencer explained.

“Sometimes they’ll turn out amazing, sometimes they’ll be good learning experiences for us."

“But for all the fans who have been on this with us, we’re going to make it good with you guys. We don’t know exactly what it is yet, so thanks for hanging with us during this and our little experiment."

“We’ll learn. Maybe we should even be building our own trivia game, like from our past, that allows people to play a trivia game more often, maybe that could happen…”

1 vs 100 was a cult classic back on Xbox 360, with one player competing against a group of 100 players in trivia rounds.

Winners received Microsoft Points and free games depending on which side emerged victorious.

Spencer had told Stevivor back in 2019 that the game's IP was held by another company, but did note that the team would like to work on something similar.
