When Is The Next Black Ops Cold War Free Trial Weekend?


Season 4 of Black Ops Cold War and Warzone has reached the halfway point, and there's plenty of new content for players to get stuck into!

Free trials are a great opportunity for players to get a feel for the game and make a decision on whether to buy it, as well as unlocking some weapons via in-game challenges. As always, a range of content will be available to play for a limited period of time as Activision looks to get new players to part ways with their hard-earned cash.

With that said, when exactly is the next Free Trial taking place in Black Ops Cold War? Find out below!

When Is The Next Cold War Free Access Weekend?

The next free access weekend will begin on July 22nd and will run until July 29th.

Players will have access to a number of multiplayer modes alongside Mauer Der Toten, the third round-based map of the Dark Aether storyline.

Black Ops Cold War Free Trial Content

Activision has released some details on what content will be available to experience during the free trial week.

"Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will have a Free Access period featuring various Multiplayer and Zombies experiences, including playlists around the new map Rush and the entirety of 'Mauer Der Toten!' Those who play Warzone will find all their Black Ops Cold War weapons and global level progress intact within the trial, and any progress earned during the trial will carry right back over to Warzone."

How To Access Cold War Free Trial

The process of getting hands on the free trial is incredibly straightforward. Open the store for your console and search for "Cold War Free Access." The option to download the trial will immediately appear. Click "Download" and before you know it, you'll be straight into the action!

Will My Progress Carry Over After Purchasing?

Any progress you make during the Free Access Week will carry over if you decide to purchase the full game.

This includes XP, levels, rewards, and more.
