There are numerous ways to end up in the gulag in Warzone 2. Whether it’s from another opponent or accidentally falling from a great height without pulling the parachute, some are far more embarrassing than others.

With attention turning towards the launch of Season Two, many are excited to see the return of the 1v1 gulag and the arrival of a brand-new Resurgence map. If the Season Two early patch notes are anything to go by, there’s plenty more content on the way to the battle royale.

As players continue dropping into Al Mazrah, one player managed to eliminate themselves in arguably the most embarrassing way possible.

Loadout drop scores unexpected kill

When attempting to get their hands on their own loadout, Reddit user MrL23 calls in the drop onto the roof of a small building. Instead of the crate landing on the rooftop, it catches the edge and falls onto the player.

This hilarious outcome has led to plenty of comments from other players. “The loadout got more kills than I did in this game,” jokes the player. Another questions why the user was standing directly underneath the loadout drop as it was falling from the skies. “Why? Why tempt fate? Never stand under or near a loadout dropping in.”

These kinds of deaths aren’t unusual within the world of Warzone 2. Players aren’t strangers to finding unusual ways to score kills and deaths. Recently, one player managed to eliminate their gulag opponents without firing a single bullet. On the other hand, another earned the world record for the fastest Warzone 2 death in history.

On the bright side, at least MrL23 had teammates on hand to buy them back into the action.
