Activision and Vicarious Visions debuted a new release trailer for Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 & 2 on Friday, and the remake continues to impress.

The “warehouse” demo that folks who pre-ordered (and members of the press) got to try out recently is very fun, albeit tiny in scope. This promises to be a solid, fun tribute to the Tony Hawk’s games of the past — and it’s certainly gorgeous to look at.

Here, in the new launch trailer, we see a lot more of what’s to come: a gray space alien, lots of brick and urban areas, a sun-kissed ocean, wild skateparks.

The character models and sound effects alone justify the remake’s existence. But of course a lot of us are here for the soundtrack, and it doesn’t disappoint either.

The Ataris, Dead Kennedys, Goldfinger, Machine Gun Kelly, Papa Roach, Primus, Rage Against the Machine, Sublime, Suicidal Tendencies — this soundtrack has a bit of everything you’d want in a skating game.
