The Outer Worlds is getting more content in the shape of Peril on Gorgon, the first of two planned DLC packs for Obsidian's RPG.

What Is The Peril on Gorgon DLC?

The Outer Worlds' first DLC is a "noir-tinged" adventure set on the Gorgon Asteroid.

The Asteroid was the site of one of the most ambitious scientific undertakings in Halcyon: the development and synthesis of Adrena-Time, a drug intended to improve the productivity of workers across the Halcyon colony. 

Spacer’s Choice, shuttered the project, and the abandoned facilities became home to marauders and a motley band of SubLight contractors. 

The player will have to journey through these abandoned facilities and track down Dr. Ambrose’s scattered, embittered colleagues, uncovering a mystery that has shaped life in Halcyon.

On top of an exciting new story, players should expect new weapons, perks and flaws.

Release Date

The expansion launches on September 9 on PS4, Xbox One and PC. It'll come to Switch at a later date/

Price

The expansion will cost $14.99 and is included in an Expansion Pass with the next expansion for $24.99. You'll also get a 10% discount if you're an Xbox Game Pass subscriber.
