While inFAMOUS never showed up at last month's PlayStation Showcase, rumours haven't died down about a potential revival for Sucker Punch's old series. Adding to the list of potential upcoming projects, Shpeshal_Nick now claims Sly Cooper could also be revealed alongside it.
So far, Sony has been actively pushing for new platformers in recent years. While Activision's Crash Bandicoot N-Sane Trilogy launched as a timed PS4 exclusive, Insomniac Games also brought Ratchet & Clank this Summer. However, Sly Cooper details are sparse, and all Nick's shared is that this is "100% happening."
The last Sly Cooper game was released back in 2013 for PlayStation 3 and since then, we've seen little of it. A movie adaptation was teased back in 2014 but ultimately, this ended up going nowhere. We'll have to wait if the leaks prove true once this Sony show arrives.

Players recently returned the samurai world of Ghost of Tsushima, through Sucker Punch Productions' release of the Director's Cut. But before embarking on Jin's adventure, the beloved developers created the popular inFAMOUS games.
And it seems like the cult, superhero franchise might be making a comeback, as one insider claims that inFAMOUS might be appearing at this week's PlayStation Showcase.
inFAMOUS Rumoured To Show Up At PlayStation Showcase
Coming to us from @Shpeshal_Nick, they didn't specify in what capacity this re-emergence could be. Whether that's another instalment in the series or a remaster of the original two PS3 games, this remains unknown. However, inFAMOUS' domain name has since been updated too, further fuelling speculation that Sony has plans.
However, it is important to take this news with a grain of salt as the report has been unconfirmed, so the claim remains a rumour. Meanwhile, the PlayStation Showcase is likely to present a remastered version of the first Alan Wake, with multiple listings popping up for the game.
