QuakeCon 2021 Remains A Digital-Only Event

As we've entered the second year of the global pandemic, some organisers have slowly tried returning to physical events, after last year's rush of digital conferences. However, ZeniMax Media's QuakeCon won't be one of them, as they've just confirmed it'll be an online-only affair again for 2021.

Breaking the news earlier today, they revealed QuakeCon 2021 is taking place on August 19-21. While we don't know much about the event plan, a follow-up tweet confirmed "We’ll share additional details on the streaming lineup, charity opportunities, giveaways, and more later in June, so stay tuned for more updates!"

QuakeCon 2021 Remains A Digital-Only Event

While vaccinations are continuing to rollout globally, ZeniMax Media understandably aren't taking chances with their traditional Dallas event. If it follows last year's approach for QuakeCon At Home, fans can expect to see panels, reveals, cosplay competitions, and more.

With Microsoft attending E3 2021 as a headlining act, its unclear what'll be shown off between these two events. Deathloop is currently launching in September, while rumours have circulated that Microsoft is pushing for Starfield to become a Holiday 2021 release. At the least, we won't have to wait too long before finding out.
