Quake's Anniversary Edition is Out Now on All Platforms


As part of Quake's 25th anniversary celebrations, Bethesda released Quake on PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PS4, with backwards compatibility on Xbox Series X|S and PS5.

Quake 2 and Quake 3 are also available on Xbox Game Pass for PC.

It's not just the same Quake you may know from years gone by.

The Quake anniversary edition includes two new campaigns from MachineGames, makers of Wolfenstein, plus free downloadable mods and campaigns, including Quake 64.

It also has support for local and online co-op, widescreen and 4K support, depth of field enhancement, dynamic lighting, and more.

The anniversary edition costs $9.99, though if you own Quake on PC already, you can upgrade it for free.

Bethesda also promised 120hz refresh and native 4K support for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S in the near future.
