As part of Pokemon’s 25th anniversary celebrations, The Pokemon Company revealed a brand-new open-world title arriving to Nintendo Switch.
Alongside unveiling the first details on the full remakes of Diamond and Pearl, Pokemon Legends Arceus features an all-new storyline set in the Sinnoh region.

Release Date
According to the first reveal trailer, Pokemon Legends Arceus will be releasing in early 2022. A specific release date has yet to be revealed.

Based on previous Pokemon releases on Switch, Pokemon Legends Arceus will likely cost £49.99/$59.99.
Region
Pokemon Legends Arceus takes place in the Sinnoh region, the same as Diamond and Pearl.
The game is set "in a long-gone era" prior to the time period in which Diamond and Pearl is set.
It will be interesting to play Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, the remake of the original Sinnoh games, then play a new game set in the same region from the past.
