The Pokemon GO spotlight hours have arrived!
This will give you a chance to collect unique Pokemon only available during this period.
The Spotlight hours take place every Tuesday throughout the month of October.
The hour will run between 6 pm and 7 pm local time.
But what special Pokemon variants are available during the hours?
Well, a unique version of Pikachu will be wandering around on October 6th and 13th.

On the spotlight hours taking place on October 6th and 13th, a special variant of Pikachu will be available to find.
The Pokemon GO blog reveals the details of each hour on October 6th and 13th.
"On Tuesday, October 6, 2020, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time, Pikachu wearing the World Cap worn by Ash in the ongoing anime series Pokémon Journeys: The Series will be available in Pokémon GO for the first time! You’ll also earn twice the XP for catching Pokémon."
"On Tuesday, October 13, 2020, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time, Pikachu wearing the Original Cap worn by Ash in previous series will be returning to Pokémon GO! You’ll also earn twice the Candy for catching Pokémon."
It's fair to say this isn't an hour to miss out on.
Make sure you note down the date and time and get looking for Pikachu!
