Nintendo Switch: 'Switch Pro' Could Arrive With Mini-LED Display

With the release of the next-gen consoles next month, a lot of attention is being paid to Microsoft and Sony.

The Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5 will provide gamers with a significant upgrade in performance and usher in the next generation of gaming.

However, Nintendo fans are still waiting for the next version or upgrade of the Switch.

Well, a recent report from Economic Daily News has suggested the 'Switch Pro' will release with an exciting new feature.

'Switch Pro' Set To Release With Mini-LED Display

The report suggests that the next version of the Nintendo Switch may feature a Mini-LED display.

This has been speculated based on Nintendo's recent visit to Innolux, a Taiwanese company that sell TFT LCD panels.

Innolux produces mini-LED screens and could be forming a partnership with Nintendo.

This has led to rumours that the 'Switch Pro' will feature a mini-LED screen.

But why is this exciting for Nintendo fans?

Well, a mini-LED screen will give the Switch contrast and brightness that matches an OLED screen.

On top of this, it will most likely improve the battery life of the console as power will be used more efficiently when lighting up the screen.

It's fair to say this is very exciting news for Nintendo fans who were hoping for an upgraded experience.

It's important to keep in mind that this is just a rumour and has not been confirmed by Nintendo.

Let's hope we get news of a new or upgraded version of the Switch in early 2021.

That would definitely be a great start to the year for Nintendo fans!
