Netflix Games Now Available for Android Users


With Netflix's initiative on venturing more into the gaming industry, the streaming platform has now launched Netflix Games for their mobile Android app with no additional cost.

Gamingbolt reports that Netflix launched five mobile games yesterday for their mobile Android app users, namely Stranger Things: 1984 (BonusXP), Stranger Things 3: The Game (BonusXP), Shooting Hoops (Frosty Pop), Card Blast (Amuzo & Rogue Games), and Teeter Up (Frosty Pop).

All of these can also be played both online and offline.

Netflix Games Now Available For Android

Netflix also expressed their plans to create more games moving forward, A part of their official statement reads as:

"Whether you’re craving a casual game you can start from scratch or an immersive experience that lets you dig deeper into your favorite stories, we want to begin to build a library of games that offers something for everyone. We’re in the early days of creating a great gaming experience, and we’re excited to take you on this journey with us."

The company's interest in venturing into the gaming industry was already seen when they partnered with Riot Games to create the League of Legends-based series Arcane which will premiere this Saturday, November 6th. Netflix also recently acquired Night School Studio who were responsible for creating the 2016 mystery adventure game Oxenfree.
