Mortal Kombat Legends: Battle of the Realms Shows Scooby-Doo's Shaggy In New Movie Teaser

An unlikely yet fan-favoured crossover is taking place, as Shaggy from the renowned series Scooby-Doo is now part of the new animated film ‘Mortal Kombat Legends: Battle of the Realms.”

Posted on the official Twitter account of director Ed Boon, Shaggy appeared at the 6-second mark of the 11-second teaser.

#ShaggyKonfirmed was also used by Boon – confirming that he will now be part of the movie, bringing a ‘dead meme’ back to life.

Dead Meme Resurrected

Back in 2019, some Mortal Kombat community members brought up the idea of including Shaggy in that year’s newly released video game Mortal Kombat 11 as a guest fighter. However, it was shut down by the community manager of the franchise, stating it is a ‘dead meme’ of some sort.

But now, Scooby Doo’s best friend may now look through some other gigs of his own, and maybe he won't join the movie alone.

However, the possibility of including him in Mortal Kombat 11 won't happen, as DLC support for the game recently ended to give way for their ‘next project.’ Make sure to follow us for more news and updates about Mortal Kombat.
