Modern Warfare Studio Infinity Ward Opens New Headquarters

Infinity Ward, the studio behind Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, announced that they have opened a new headquarters - one now based in Austin, Texas. As VGC reported, this is the company's fourth office overall, with the other three in California, Poland, and Mexico.

Rumours suggest they are hiring for a possible Modern Warfare 2 game. Known insider Tom Henderson mentioned that 'Call of Duty: 2022 is codenamed Project Cortez' which would most likely 'include a campaign involving US special forces fighting a covert war against Columbian drug cartels.'

Of course, nothing is confirmed yet, and all we can do is wait for the official announcement about the future of Call of Duty.

Meanwhile, Call of Duty Warzone is getting some big changes coinciding with Vanguard's release. Raven confirmed Season 6 is the last we'll see of Verdansk, at least for now. Season 6 is also bringing a new zombies map to Black Ops Cold War, some arcade fun, and... some teddy bear skins. Let that one sink in for a bit.
