Metal Gear Solid Remake Coming To PS5?

That's not the only tactical stealth action we'll be getting, either.

Apparently, Metal Gear Solid 2, 3 and 4 will all be remastered in HD, although we don't know if those will only come to PS5 and PC.

The first Metal Gear Solid game was remade for Gamecube as Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes, while the second and third games appeared in HD collections on Xbox 360 and PS3.

Metal Gear Solid 4 was a PlayStation 3 exclusive and is still only playable on that system.

The latest title in the franchise, Metal Gear Survive, was built off of the fifth instalment but focused on interdimensional travel and zombies. It wasn't well-received and was the first game in the franchise to be released following creator Hideo Kojima's acrimonious exit from publisher Konami.

Rumours have also suggested that Konami has been working on a new Silent Hill title for PlayStation 5.

It's yet to be announced, of course, leaving fans clinging to P.T, a playable prelude to a cancelled Silent Hill title.
