Leaker Claims Fuel Bomb Killstreak Was Cut From Modern Warfare

Although the main focus of the Call of Duty franchise has switched from Modern Warfare to Black Ops Cold War and Warzone as the cycle continues through its third season of post-launch content, plenty of players are still playing the 2019 release despite a lack of new content making its way to the game.

One of the main features of the game was the return of Killstreaks after years of Scorestreaks. There is a variety to select ranging from the infamous Chopper Gunner to the humble UAV which can be just as useful.

According to a leaker, Modern Warfare was meant to have another Killstreak included in the full release but it never made it past the beta.

Here's everything you need to know about Modern Warfare's Fuel Bomb Killstreak.

Notable Call of Duty leaker @ZestyCODLeaks discovered the killstreak within a video from the Modern Warfare beta which also includes a glimpse at the developer head-up display and its user interface.

In between the UAV and what appears to be a tank, there's an image of a plane that represents the Fuel Bomb Killstreak.

When called in, planes fly over the map and drop a precise explosion on a specific area of the map selected by the user.

A video showing the streak in action appeared on Reddit all the way back in 2020.

Considering the Killstreak doesn't look the most powerful, it's strange to see why the Fuel Bomb didn't make it past the beta and was added into the full release.

Will It Ever Be Released?

Considering the lack of content making its way to Modern Warfare in 2021, it's likely that the Fuel Bomb will never get a release, much to the annoyance of players that are desperate for some kind of new content to arrive.
