Between this announcement and February's comments, its led to speculation that Bloober Team are handling a new Silent Hill game. We've seen repeated rumours that a new project is in the works, though VGC has previously reported that there may be multiple entries in development.

Having developed The Medium, Layers Of Fear, Observer and Blair Witch, Bloober Team's developed a reputation for horror games and separately, they've released a statement confirming this agreement will involve "jointly developing selected contents and exchanging know-how". On paper, they sound like a natural fit for a Silent Hill revival, but for now, we'll have to wait on further details.
