Indiana Jones is back in virtual game form!
With the announcement that the newly formed Lucasfilm Games label, Bethesda have jumped into partnership with them to turn the popular move franchise into a video game.
So what do we know about the game?
Todd Howard Teases An Easter Egg - 14th January
Todd Howard actually had a small Easter Egg of the Indiana Jones game before the announcement.
As pointed out by @Dblackraven1, during The Major Nelson podcast with Pete Hines and Phil Spencer, Todd Howard had the Ark of the Covenant behind him.
There's no official release date as of yet, but we wouldn't be shocked to see it arrive in 2021.
Most are anticipating a 2022 release.
The Indiana Jones story will be an entirely new one.
Todd Howard confirmed that the Indiana Jones game will tell a wholly original, standalone tale set at the height of the career of the famed adventurer.
“It’ll be some time before we have more to reveal, but we’re very excited to share today’s news,” the company added.
In a post on StarWars.com, Lucasfilm said that there are clues to the game’s setup in the reveal teaser.
No official Trailer has been posted, but a teaser has been revealed to announce that it is in development.

So who's taking on the task of recreating Indiana Jones?
Machine Games, the developers of Wolfenstein, will be acting on behalf of Bethesda to create this new story.
If we were to guess, we'd expect it to be on Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PC.
Bethesda agreed a $7.5 billion sale to Microsoft last year, meaning it's unclear which platforms this will release on.
Xbox's Twitter couldn't help but pipe up at the opportunity, clearly sporting the newly formed union between the two.
We do, however, expect it to also release on PS4 and PS5.
