Release Date

There's no official release date as of yet, but with the game just entering production, it seems sometime in 2023 or 2024 seems likely.

Story

The Indiana Jones story will be an entirely new one.

Todd Howard confirmed that the Indiana Jones game will tell a wholly original, standalone tale set at the height of the career of the famed adventurer.

“It’ll be some time before we have more to reveal, but we’re very excited to share today’s news,” the company added.

In a post on StarWars.com, Lucasfilm said that there are clues to the game’s setup in the reveal teaser.

Trailer

No official trailer has been posted, but a teaser has been revealed to announce that the game is in development.

Developer

Machine Games will be taking on development duties, and they know a little something about killing Nazis - the developer has also been working on the most recent Wolfenstein titles most recently.

The game will also boast Todd Howard as executive producer, the man behind Fallout 3 and Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

Platforms

While it seems certain that Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X and PC owners will get to play Indy's digital adventure, the possibility of a PlayStation release is less obvious.

That's because Machine Games is now owned by Microsoft, so unless Disney (owner of Lucasfilm) wants the game on PlayStation hardware, it's anyone's guess as to whether it'll make that jump.
