ArcSystemWorks have announced the second Beta test for their upcoming fighting game title Guilty Gear Strive.
The client will be available to pre-download on the 7th of May, respective of each region's time zone and will be available on both PS4 and PS5. PC players will still have to wait for the game's full release to get a chance to try the game out.
The Beta servers will go live on the 13th of May at 8:00 pm (PST) and will run until the 16th of May at 7:59 AM (PST).
Players who previously downloaded the first beta client will not have to re-download the game as the client will switch over and be used for the second test.
What's coming in Beta test 2?
- Versus Mode: Play against the CPU or another player.
- Tutorial Mode: Learn the basics.
- Training Mode: Practice with custom settings
- Online Match: Test your skills against players from all over the world.
Player-created rooms will not be available for this test.
Crossplay will be available between PS4 and PS5 players.
Further combat adjustments are coming based on feedback from the first test and you can find the full details in the announcements post here.
The first beta test was held in February and after criticism from the community, ArcSystemWorks decided to delay the game again to address the issues players had.
The full game is set to release on PS4, PS5, and on PC through Steam on June 11.
