With a massive new expansion on the way in December, and GTA Online getting a rerelease on new next-gen platforms in 2021, it’s a perfect time to dust off GTA 5.
Diamond Casino heist max payout
Currently, the Diamond Casino heist finale is the best-paying mission available in GTA Online. That may change once the Cayo Perico update lands — depending on the cost of access and whether or not you want to take on the island heist solo. But in the meantime, here’s what you stand to make from the casino heist.
A recent breakdown of the casino heist by GTA Boom offers four different max-payout amounts, each depending on which of the four loot types happens to be in the vault. (Diamonds will offer the highest payday.) The maximum take can be a little deceiving, however. Remember you’ll be splitting the cash with one to three other players, and Lester and other non-player characters will also take a cut.
Here’s the max take for each of the four vault types:
- Cash — $2,115,000
- Artwork — $2,350,000
- Gold — $2,585,000
- Diamonds — $3,619,000
For a realistic range of what to expect for your own personal cut, GTA Boom offers up $432,684 and $787,001 as a couple of examples. A near-flawless run with diamonds in the vault will get you closer to that coveted million-dollar heist. Fewer players to split the take with will also, naturally, increase your payday.
The Cayo Perico heist
“On Tuesday, December 15, GTA Online raises the stakes once again with its biggest update yet: the Cayo Perico Heist, featuring an all-new exotic location and a brand-new approach to heist design that for the first time will let players tackle the entire heist solo or with a crew of up to three other players,” Rockstar said in an email.
“Along with the challenge of finding a way to infiltrate and rob one of the most secure private islands in the world, players can also expect new social spaces to party with friends, new world-class DJs, and radio stations with over 100 new songs, plus a host of vehicles and weapons, a heavily armed submarine HQ, and much more.”
A standalone release of GTA Online is expected to launch in 2021, along with new versions of GTA 5 optimized for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
