Gearbox CEO Confirms New Brothers in Arms Game Is Coming


A new Brothers in Arms game has been confirmed by Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford. Speaking with Insomniac Games CEO Ted Price, Pitchford announced this was currently in the works.

During his interview in the Game Maker's Notebook podcast by the Association of Interactive Arts and Sciences (AIAS), Pitchford's statement about the game reads:

"It sucks because I know there's a lot of people —we're working on another Brothers in Arms game—but I'm not saying shit until we have it. We have fans that really love that (series), but they're just going to have to suffer."

This was brought this up after Pitchford explained the situation surrounding Aliens: Colonel Marines, when SEGA and Fox were 'eager' at that time to announce the partnership between them and Unreal Engine, even though there was no signed contract back then.

The last Brothers in Arms game, Hell's Highway, released back in 2008 and since then, there was no other game that followed through for the franchise. We'll keep you informed if there's any further changes.
