Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition will be with us this month however finding out where to pre-order the game has been relatively difficult to find.
What is Crystal Chronicles?
The original Crystal Chronicles was a spin off to the Final Fantasy series and was released all the way back in 2003.
Players become adventurers who travel in caravans to collect and transport mystical fuel for crystals that protect the world from a destructive force known as Miasma.
Up to four people must escort the caravan through the world, defending it from enemies and solving puzzles in order to progress through the game.
The Remastered Version
A remastered version of Crystal Chronicles was announced for release worldwide in September 2018.
Published by Square Enix, the remaster includes new music, new dungeons, cross-platform multiplayer and enhanced graphics.
Ryoma Araki, the games producer, mentioned they had the option to remake it however they wanted to keep the game faithful to the memories of earlier players.
Pre-Order Details
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered will launch on the 25th January after suffering a small delay.
Pre order details are sparse however players can pre-order the game on the Nintendo Switch for £38.02 via the retailer, Play-Asia.
So far there has been no word on what Western retailers will be selling the game but we'll update as and when we hear more.
