Fantasy Premier League is entering the 2020/21 season and players are creating their own squads to compete against more than 6 million players.

The inventive online game gives players the chance to test their football knowledge against the rest of the world.

With a budget limit and player selection limit, you'll need to make sure you're on your toes.

So how many players can you pick for your squad?

How Many Players Can You Pick In Fantasy Premier League?

In the regular Fantasy Premier League game, you can only pick 15 footballers for your squad.

This is exactly the same for the draft version of the game.

With a budget of £100 million at your disposal, you'll need to wisely dish it out across your squad so that you can pick the best 15.

There are a number of different strategies to employ, you could throw all your money into your starting 11, to ensure you get the best team available, leaving your bench week.

This is seen as a high risk, high reward tactic usually paying off in the points returned and the fact these 11 are almost always guaranteed to play.

However, when making changes on a week by week basis, you're more likely going to sacrifice more points to make transfers.

If you'd prefer to distribute your cash more wisely, you can invest more evenly and use your super-subs at your disposal.

This will save you money as you won't need to make more transfers, but rather sub players in and out.

However, it means you won't have as strong of a starting squad in most scenarios.

Every year is different and you may find you're able to field a strong squad without needing to sacrifice your bench players.

You can ultimately sell them on at a later date to free up cash for more lucrative players.
