Epic Games Announce New Apps Joining the Store and Spotify Deal


Today Epic Games revealed the addition of 5 new PC applications to the epic games store, as well as, a Spotify Premium deal for the first 3 months free to new users.

As Epic Games continue to grow their storefront, they are partnering with more applications to give their users the option to find everything they need in one stop.

Today we see the addition of:

  • Itch-io: a storefront for indie games
  • Brave: an open-source web browser
  • iHeartRadio: music, and streaming radio app (NA only)
  • KenShape: 2D and 3D model generator
  • Krita: Digital painting application

These applications join the Epic Games App store after Spotify was added at the end of 2020.

"You can expect to see more amazing apps added in the future," says Epic Games.

Coming soon we can expect to see their very own face-face social network 'Houseparty' and popular communication app Discord.

Alongside the addition of these apps, Fortnite has teamed up with Spotify giving Fortnite Crew owners free 3 months of Spotify Premium for new accounts.

Starting today, and running until June 30, 2021, Fortnite Crew members in eligible countries are able to claim a code to get their first 3 months free.

Fortnite Crew subscribers who had an active Crew subscription between March 22, 2021, and April 22, 2021, are still eligible.

All codes will expire on the 1st of August 2021, so be sure to redeem your code before then, to make sure you don't miss out.
