Joe Manganiello Joins Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance Voice Cast


We've got less than a month to go before Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance launches. Acting as a spiritual successor to the recently re-released Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance, that arrives on June 22 and developers Tuque Studios have got a few more surprises in store.

Announcing the news today via Twitter, they've just confirmed Hollywood actor Joe Manganiello - best known for appearing in True Blood and Justice League - is joining the voice cast. Releasing a clip earlier today, he's playing Utaar Kelvinson, descendant of legendary frost giant Kelvin.

You can find that clip below and shortly afterwards, Manganiello himself commented on the news, seemingly confirming this. As a longtime Dungeons & Dragons fan himself, Manganiello's even a credited D&D writer, contributing to Baldur's Gate: Descent Into Avernus. Elsewhere, he's appeared playing the game on TV in The Big Bang Theory, alongside Critical Role.

As a reminder, Dark Alliance was previously confirmed to be a day one release for Microsoft's Game Pass subscription, meaning Xbox and PC players can jump in at no additional cost on June 22. We'll keep you informed of any further updates before its launch next month.
