New Doctor Who Game Set For September Release


After its first episode aired nearly 60 years ago, a new game based on the iconic BBC TV series Doctor Who has been officially confirmed. After developing previous games based on the iconic franchise like The Lonely Assassins and The Edge of Time, Maze Theory will bring a new adaptation to consoles very soon.

Doctor Who: The Edge of Reality launching September 30th this year

The Edge of Reality will follow both David Tennant's Tenth Doctor and Jodie Whittaker's Thirteenth Doctor. The doctors will be pitted against a unique, ominous villain in the "CyberReaper", a being representing a somewhat spin-off from the classic Cybermen.

The release date was announced in a new trailer for the impending title:

Maze Theory is bringing similar elements from their VR-exclusive Doctor Who: The Edge of Time and incorporating them into the forthcoming adventure.

In The Edge of Reality, fans will also face classic villains stretching across the franchise's legacy:

Doctor Who: The Edge of Reality will launch on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One X|S, PS4 as well as next-gen consoles, Xbox Series X|S and PS5.
