Naturally, it's not quite the same as if we were sitting here able to play Diablo 4, but we'll make do for the time being.

Right now Diablo is currently going through its two-week PTR period to fine-tune the experience before the next Season drops on our PS4, Xbox, PC, or Nintendo Switch.

For those interested, this is the Diablo PTR Patch 2.6.10 Update and it started on October 1.

As per the team at Blizzard, most of the current class changes focus on tweaks to Wizards, Crusaders, and Witch Doctors.

But with another PTR patch dropping on October 8, there are plenty more tweaks inbound.

Naturally though, with all this testing going on, many fans of the game might be wondering when the next season of Diablo is actually going to drop.

Well, read on for everything you need to know about the Diablo 3 Season 22 Start Date.

Blizzard has yet to confirm the specific date Season 22 will end, but given they have started PTR testing, it's naturally not that far away.

Before anything happens Blizzard has to finish the two weeks of PTR testing. Given this started on October 1st, that takes us up to October 15th.

Initially, we'd predicted that the Diablo 3 Season 21 End Date could be October 11, but we now know it'll be finishing on November 8.

With all the possible variables it's likely that Season 22 won't get started until the late November, potentially as far back as the 30th.

It's also worth keeping in mind that in the past, Diablo Seasons typically end on a Sunday, with new Seasons beginning on a Friday.

With that in mind, we think it's likely we'll see Diablo 3 Season 22 starting on November 30th at the very earliest.

We'll, of course, be sure to update players should anything change, but it could be a long old wait.
