What Is Diablo 2: Resurrected?
Diablo 2: Resurrected is a remaster of the classic action-RPG from 2000, and also includes the 2001 Lord of Destruction expansion content.
As for upgrades, the game now runs in high-resolution 3D and has Dolby 7.1 surround sound.
All 27-minutes of cutscenes have been remade entirely, and add controller support and up to eight-player co-op.
Release Date and Technical Alpha
The game is slated to launch in 2021, although an exact date hasn't been confirmed.
If you can't wait, a technical alpha will let players jump in early - just head to Diablo2.com.
Diablo 2: Resurrected will come to PC, PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X.
Players looking to play on multiple platforms can enjoy cross-progression, too.
Diablo 2 is in development at Vicarious Visions, the team behind the excellent Tony Hawk's Pro Skater Remaster from last year.
