New Darksiders Game Hinted At, Thanks to Lilith Promotional Art


Darksiders incurred its most recent entry in 2019, which saw the franchise adopting co-op gameplay. We've yet to see news on an official fourth main entry, but an announcement could be coming very soon.

The Art Director for Darksiders III, Anton Lavrushkin, released promotional art on ArtStation. The piece showcased hints at the return of a character from previous Darksiders episodes. As seen below, this design seems to reveal Lilith, The Mother Of Demons.

Appearing in the first two games, The Mad Queen is best known for creating the Nephilim. Considering she's at the forefront of the art, it seems likely she'll be the next game's main villain.

As we await an official unveiling, Darksiders III launched on Nintendo Switch earlier this year. Following its initial 2018 release, the game featured FURY's quest to take down the seven deadly sins:

Return to an apocalyptic Earth in Darksiders III, a hack-n-slash Action Adventure where players assume the role of FURY in her quest to hunt down and dispose of the Seven Deadly Sins. The most unpredictable and enigmatic of the Four Horsemen, FURY must succeed where many have failed – to bring balance to the forces that now ravage Earth. Darksiders III is the long-anticipated, third chapter in the critically-acclaimed Darksiders franchise.
