A lot of Cyberpunk 2077 players are already imagining how sweet life will be when the Phantom Liberty Expansion arrives and they can ditch their old flame, Keanu Reeves, for a fresh celebrity companion in Idris Elba. But some are still hanging out in the sprawling metropolis while they wait, and the modding scene is still as hot as ever in Night City. So we've got an awesome mod guide on how to install a driveable Blade Runner spinner!

For veteran players who are busy shooting their way through the last few gigs and missions in their quest log, or stealthily exploring the dangerous depths of CD Projekt Red’s dense urban jungle to try and unearth hidden secrets, having a rapid ride is a must.

So if you’re in the market for some fresh wheels and love the Blade Runner films, a new mod might be worth adding to your load order.

Fancy getting behind the wheel of this iconic spinner from Blade Runner in Cyberpunk 2077?

The mod in question is called ‘Blade Runner Spinner’ and is the work of modder Ctxrlsec. A lot of their previous projects have revolved around bringing beloved automobiles, including the Nissan Skyline and the McLaren F1, to the streets of Night City.

But this time, they’ve decided, with help from a model made by fellow modder LinceLsa and AK47OG’s ‘Blade Runner 2077 Custom Licence plates various colours and designs’, to add a working version of the spinner from the Blade Runner movies to the game. This mod gives players the perfect chance to live out their replicant-hunting fantasies.

Made to be used alongside jackhumbert’s ‘Let There Be Flight’, which adds a custom flight system to every vehicle in the game, Ctxrlsec’s spinner, which is acquired via DJ_Kovrik’s ‘Virtual Car Dealer’, can seemingly be flown or driven exactly like its big screen inspiration.

It’ll also look pretty good while doing either, with a slick black paint job helping its bright lights and thrusters to stand out against the night sky. It also has a fully modelled interior, ensuring you can comfortably and immersively enjoy travelling in it from a first-person perspective.

Unfortunately, the vehicle does have one teething issue right now. Activating its doors during longer gaming sessions can cause your game to crash, but Ctxrlsec looks to be well aware of this and is already planning to develop a fix for it.

What you need to install the spinner mod

So if that hasn’t put you off, you’ll first need to grab Ctxrlsec’s ‘Vehicle Manufacturers Resource’, HitmanHimself’s ‘Cookedapps Nulled’ and NimRain’s ‘Material and Texture Override’, in addition to Psiberx’s ‘ArchiveXL’ and ‘TweakXL’.
