CD Projekt Red Opens Their First Canadian Studio

Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher developer CD Projekt Red is continuing to expand into new territories. Having previously announced plans to open a Canadian studio, they've now officially sealed the deal to start CD Projekt Red Vancouver.

As for CD Projekt Red Vancouver's upcoming plans, we don't have much to go on outside the confirmation tweet, which you can find below. However, CD Projekt Red has previously confirmed new projects are scheduled to enter development in 2022, though thanks to the Covid-19 pandemic, that's liable to change.

The news comes as CD Projekt Red tease Cyberpunk 2077's "biggest update yet" in a new advert, which some believe could finally offer the long-awaited Update 1.3. It'll be some time before we hear anything about any games from the Vancouver team, but we'll keep you informed once we know.
