Now the DMR has been nerfed, there are several weapons that could take its place as the best weapon to use in Warzone.

Since the Black Ops Cold War arsenal was integrated, players have a huge choice in which weapons to use.

Here are some of our picks below.

Krig 6

Armed with a high damage output and minimal recoil, the Krig 6 is extremely easy to use in long-distance engagements.

With the right attachment combination, it’s up there as one of the best assault rifles to use.

Milano 821

While it may not be at the top of everyone’s list, the Milano 821 SMG is one of the strongest weapons that can be found in supply crates.

With no recoil and a consistent rate of fire, it’s the ideal close-quarters weapon to use if you don’t have access to your loadout.

M16

Although the DMR and Type 63 have been nerfed, there is still one tactical rifle that is very effective in Warzone.

The M16 comes with incredible damage statistics, enabling you to break the armour of an opponent with the first burst and send them to the gulag with the second.

With seemingly limitless combinations of attachments, perks, and equipment to choose from, it can be tricky to determine which loadouts are the best to use.

Here are the loadouts we recommend

  • Tac Laser (Laser)
  • 60 Round Mags (Ammunition)
  • Commando Foregrip (Underbarrel)

With this attachment combination, the DMR domination will feel like a lifetime ago as players return to what was arguably the best assault rifle to use in Warzone.

For those wanting to score plenty of kills on their way to the victory helicopter, speed and ruthless aggression is a popular strategy.

Drop into a hotly contested location such as Superstore to grab a gun quickly and some early kills to build up some cash for a Loadout Drop.

Call it in as soon as possible to score your own loadout and continue your rampage. Make sure to utilise bounties to track down your next target with ease.

Slow And Steady

This may not appeal to some but it can prove to be a very effective way to making a deep run in a Warzone match.

Rather than landing in a busy area, head towards the Farmland where you can loot at your own pace without being bombarded by gunfire from all angles.

Just be aware of any players that have landed around you and could be camping in one of the many buildings in the area.

Vehicular Warfare

There are several vehicles that can be found across the Warzone maps, and all of them can be used to your advantage.

As soon as you drop in, check the map and look for a helicopter. Head straight towards it and use it to eliminate anyone that has landed in the area. Even without a weapon, a well-piloted chopper is a sure-fire way of scoring a handful of kills quickly.

Once the area is clear, hop out of the helicopter and begin looting up. Be aware of the ominous lock-on noise when patrolling the skies!
