1) Teamwork Makes The Dream Work

To achieve success in Fireteam: Dirty Bomb, sticking together and co-ordinating with the rest of the teammates is the one major key to success.

It’s easy to stray away from your comrades but more often than not, you will run into a squad that will send you back to the respawn screen quicker than you can say Dirty Bomb.

In the early stages of the game, select one of the many targets and drop in altogether. If you gather uranium and deposit it at the same bombsite, the chances of you detonating the bomb quickly are increased dramatically.

2) A Quick Bomb Plant

Once you’ve deposited enough uranium, you will be able to begin detonating the bomb.

If you go about it by yourself, it can take what feels like an eternity for the plant to take place. There is a much quicker way to release the cloud of radioactive gas.

While one member of the team punches in the digits, the other three should stand in the vicinity of the bomb to make the process up to four times faster.

Some of the bombs are in close-quarters areas so be sure to position yourself to prevent all four of you from being eliminated.

3) A Smooth Driver

Scattered across both Alpine and Ruka are a range of vehicles that can be utilised to traverse the map much quicker than moving on foot.

Whether it’s a snowmobile, a buggy, or a motorbike, it is extremely important to be smooth behind the handlebars or the wheel because it can be very easy to crash into a tree and for an opponent to down you in the blink of an eye.

On Alpine, stick to the abandoned ski slopes for a clearer path to the top or bottom of the hillside while on Ruka, the muddy pathways make for perfect routes to guide your vehicle to the next objective with ease.

If you feel like you can navigate in between the trees, it can provide a quicker route towards your destination but the chances of encountering some sneaky opposition is much higher. It’s risky, but with some quick reactions, it can prove to be an effective method of reaching an area of the map much quicker than the other teams.
