Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War has one of the most exciting single-player campaigns in the history of the franchise. 

The latest chapter in the storied Black Ops series sees players making a return to the Cold War in a brand-new campaign developed by Raven Software.

After managing to secure a Soviet mainframe, the elite group of operatives appear to be hot on the heels of Perseus, a Soviet spy believed to be infiltrating US intelligence.

Immediately after completing Echoes of a Cold War, you emerge back in the Berlin safehouse with the rest of the team.

Lubyanka Briefing Walkthrough

A cutscene will play, revealing that the intel Mason and Woods acquired has been wiped clean.

The phone call involving Hudson also reveals that the only way to acquire the intel is by infiltrating the KGB headquarters.

Once the cutscene has ended, you’re greeted by Hudson and Adler in the doorway having a heated discussion as to who should be the one to go undercover and into the KGB HQ.

As Adler and Hudson go back to their business, you’re free to roam around the safehouse and interact with all of the team.

If you want to get straight back into the story, head over to the evidence board which has even more evidence attached to it.

Examine the new pieces of evidence on the board. If you’ve obtained all the evidence throughout the campaign so far, you can have a go at decrypting the floppy disk as part of the Operation Chaos side mission. Click here to find out how.

If you want to save that for a later date, you can hop straight into the ninth mission by selecting it from the evidence board.
