The Apex Legends arsenal contains a wide range of weaponry capable of making an impact in all kinds of scenarios. Season 17 of Respawn Entertainment’s battle royale is well underway and players continue to drop into the action.

Despite a recent dose of weapon buffs and nerfs, there’s one weapon in particular that’s still dominating the meta, much to the annoyance of fans hoping for some kind of change to the weapon tier list.

As Season 17 progresses, players are demanding the developers to nerf the weapon in question so all weapon categories are balanced once again.

Should the Nemesis Burst AR get nerfed?

In a now-deleted post, Reddit user Disastrous_Bat_1704 says the overpowered nature of the Nemesis Burst AR has forced them to stop playing the game altogether.

“What’s it going to take to get this thing nerfed?” questions the user. “Guess I’ll sit on the sidelines until this is resolved.” On the other hand, there are some that believe that other weapons, in addition to the Nemesis Burst AR, that need nerfing. “Uncharged, the gun is pretty balanced,” explains one fan. Perhaps the charging bonus needs a tweak instead.

This isn’t the first time players have called for the developers to nerf the Nemesis Burst AR. During the latter stages of Season 16, fans asked for an estimated time frame but with Season 17 in full swing, they’ll be waiting a little longer for adjustments to arrive.

For the time being, it’s best to make the most of the Nemesis Burst AR’s impressive firepower before Respawn Entertainment decides to apply a nerf. For those that aren’t a fan of the rifle, there are several alternatives that are just as good.
