Amazon is known for many things, but could video games soon be one of them?
Crucible, the company's new multiplayer shooter from its Relentless studio, is launching in May according to The New York Times.
Originally revealed at TwitchCon all the way back in 2016, Crucible has apparently been "redesigned many times" through its development and was originally due to be revealed in March before being pushed back to April and then May.
Described as “a fight for survival and control. Not only will you be going toe-to-toe with your fellow competitors, but you’ll have to adapt and overcome all the challenges the planet itself throws your way. You and your teammates will need to work together to take down alien creatures, capture objectives, and pursue your opponents in search of victory", it sounds as though this competitive shooter will also include some PVE challenges to face.
