Abandoned is an upcoming PS5 horror game, where players are trying to escape a dangerous forest through a first-person perspective.
Ahead of the game's first trailer on August 10th, screengrabs have leaked and are confirmed to be real.
New 'Abandoned' Photos Have Leaked Online
Abandoned's Game Director, Hasan Kahraman has confirmed that the leaked screengrabs are in fact real.
The pictures have been extracted from Kahraman's personal PSN profile and somehow surfaced online.
The Blue Box Studios Founder has confirmed the legitimacy behind the photos, clarifying that pictures are from a 2019 build of the game taken from the PS4 Pro. Kahraman emphasized that the console was not powerful enough to fulfill Abandoned's scope and vision:
After an ambiguous reveal earlier this year, the new trailer on August 10th should shed more light on Abandoned's story and gameplay.
The official concept for the first-person horror simulator is as follows:
The story is centered around Jason Longfield, who wakes up in a strange forest. Abandoned and not remembering how he got there, Jason soon finds out that he was kidnapped and brought there for a dark purpose. Fighting for his survival, his main goal is escape.
Abandoned will utilise DualSense's features while running at a strong 4K 60 FPS on PlayStation 5.
