As we await the anticipate the release of Forza Horizon 5, in the meantime racers, can continue to immerse themselves across a number of Forza games.
But it seems like one episode in the series will be exempt from this rule, as Forza Motorsport 7 will soon be unavailable to purchase.
Forza Motorsport 7 Will Be Removed From The Microsoft Store In September
Turn 10 Studios has announced that Forza Motorsport 7 and its DLC will be unavailable to purchase from the Microsoft Store after September 15th. The game will also be removed from Xbox Game Pass after this date.
Just 4 years after the racing episode launched, the developer stated that the entry has reached its "End of Life status". The Forza Twitter account expanded on the news by pinning the reasoning to licenses, and its expiry date to use certain makes and models after that point:
It's not all bad news as Xbox Game Pass subscribers who purchased DLC for the game can claim a free copy of Forza Motorsport 7, via the Xbox Message Center. If a code hasn't been received by August 2nd, racers can contact Xbox Support for assistance.
Forza Motorsport 7 has also been immensely discounted, as it is currently on sale for £7.49/$9.99 over the next 48 days.
Fear not, though, as an Xbox Series X/S exclusive reboot is coming.
