Forza Horizon has announced what's coming next, although, the announcement is a slightly odd one, having only been released in Chinese markets. Why? Because well, there's a myriad of reasons, but namely it's because Chinese New Year is coming up on February 1, and four of the cars coming in Series 4 are Chinese market cars. This includes:

  • NIO EP9 2016 electric hypercar
  • Wuling Hongguang S Minivan
  • PORSCHE 911 GT3 RS
  • MG MG3

In addition, there are four new cars coming with the games Car Pass in February. This includes:

  • 2019 Volkswagen Golf R – 3rd February
  • 2005 MG XPower SV-R – 10th February
  • 1992 Mazda 323 GT-R – 17th February
  • 2010 Porsche 911 Sport Classic – 24th February

Take a look at the new Chinese cars on the below video and stay tuned for the next monthly Forza Horizon live stream, likely coming next week.

When Does Forza Horizon 5 Series 4 Start?

At the time of writing, Playground Games has not announced a release date for Series 4. However, a quick look at the previous start and end times for Series 1 to 3 leaves no confusion as to when to expect the next series of content.

Series

End Date

November 11, 2021
December 9, 2021
Series 2
December 9, 2021
January 6, 2022
Series 3

February 3, 2022

As the table shows, every new series begins on a Thursday and also the same day as when the previous series ends. With this in mind, the Forza Horizon 5 Series 4 start time is currently set for February 3, 2022.

Based on past series, we expect to see a release time of 6:30 AM PT / 9:30 AM ET / 2:30 PM GMT / 3:30 PM CET.

Forza Horizon 5 Series 4 Cars

January 27 Update: The new cars for February 2022 have been announced, see the latest news section for full details and a trailer.

At the time of writing, there's no confirmation on what cars could be added to Series 4 of the game. That being said, we know the new series will add a selection of new cars that players can attempt to unlock as part of the Series 4 Festival Playlist. In addition, we should also see four more cars available for Car Pass owners (added DLC that delivers new cars to your game weekly, one per week.). For the sake of clarity, Series 2 delivered 7 new cars (+4 with Car Pass), whilst Series 3 added 8 new cars (+4 with Car Pass), so we imagine we'll see a similar number released with Series 4.

It's possible we'll get a better look at the cars coming to the game when the next 'Let’s Go! Forza Horizon 5' showcase takes place later this month.

Forza Horizon 5 Series 4 Rewards & Events

January 27 Update: Playground Games have announced something called the Horizon World Cup, although exact details are still a little fuzzy. It sounds as though it's a sort of head-to-head between car manufacturers from different countries. Although the rewards aren't especially clear, we should get more info with the next Forza Horizon monthly livestream next week.

Again, we've got limited information on what to expect from Series 4, however, the 'Coming Soon' page in the Festival Playlist does hint at some "new country race suits" to the game.

In addition, it hints at some new events as well as a "new competition”, which again we imagine will be fully explained when the dev team holds the next Let’s Go! Forza Horizon 5 livestream.

That's everything we know about the next Series for Forza Horizon 5. We'll be sure to update this page as more information becomes available.
