Where To Find The Prop Gun In Fortnite

Fortnite took stealth to another level by introducing the Prop gun. Thanks to this weapon, loopers can now hide in plain sight.

The Fortnite prop gun was added to the game files after the Fortnite update today. The weapon hasn't gone live in the game just yet. But expect it to go live sometime soon.

Everything we know about the Fortnite prop gun

When it comes to the prop gun in Fortnite, I personally feel it will be available as normal floor loot. It could also be sold by some NPC on the island, but that may not be the case with this weapon.

Moreover, since this one technically puts you into a disguise, I'm guessing the NPCs that are disguised as aliens will be selling this. Human Bill is one such NPC.

There are other NPCs as well, but in order to find out, you'll have to talk to the. However, another telltale sign of NPCs being aliens is if you see them selling a Kymera Ray Gun.

Given the back story that Rick has, he's the only one capable of coming up with such whacky inventions. Anyway, we'll find out about the availability about the prop gun once it goes live in the game.

That being said, this prop gun can turn you into a prop for a very limited amount of time. Not only that, it will also send out a signal every 30 seconds to nearby loopers, warning them about your presence.

The signal won't pin point your location for them. That defeats the entire purpose of the weapon. However, the signal will give them a general idea of where you could be located.

And that does seem like a fair trade to me. Honestly, you could set up really interesting ambush like scenarios with this prop gun. And if used effectively, it could lead to so many match winning scenarios.

We'll be able to see more of this weapon in action once it goes live. I sincerely hope that it doesn't get taken out of the competitive playlist though.

That being said, the Prop-ifier will probably go live in a couple of hours along with the Fortnite Superman skin. Both these items are set to go live via a hotfix in the game. However, no downtime is expected.
